To the problematic aspects of state protection of persons involved in criminal proceedings (monitoring of legislation)

Abstract

In this article, the author examines in dynamics the problems of legislative regulation of protective mechanisms in relation
to persons participating in criminal proceedings on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main directions for improving
the legal basis of state protection of such persons, their family members and close relatives are detailed. Based on the monitoring of
sectoral, criminal and procedural legislation, norm-gaps, collision norms, ineffectively applied and corruption-related norms are
shown. Rule-making solutions to these problems are proposed
