Abstract

Socio - cultural competence is the expansion of knowledge about the socio-cultural characteristics of the country or the
country of the studied language, the development of the ability to use language and non-language activities in accordance with these characteristics, the difference between the General and individual cultural characteristics of the country and the studied language.
Social and cultural competence knowledge of linguistic, cultural and accepted social rules in a particular social
environment. It is necessary to update the content of education that has introduced a socio-cultural component in the life of this
society during physical and social interaction.
The socio-cultural component of the content of teaching a foreign language is that it learns, understands and respects the
culture of different nationalities, which requires a deeper theoretical and practical study of socio-cultural skills
