Using the elastic properties of volatile fibers in an electric field to sort raw cotton according to quality indicators

This article discusses the behavior of raw cotton flakes when they hit the surface of a rotating charged dielectric drum, where
they are affected by the following electric field forces, specular reflection, straightening of the fibers of the volatile particles,
centrifugal force, gravity, drum reactions, friction and inertia. It is shown that with the constancy of the mode and design parameters of the dielectric drum and the electric force, the deformation of the volokol blast depends on their elasticity, i.e., the elasticity of the fibers can serve as a sign of sorting of the rays in the electric field. With the change in the elasticity of the fibers, the nature of the movement of the volts changes, it is established that the elbows are of the same mass, but differing in the elasticity of the fibers are detached from the rotating charged surface of the dielectric drum at different angles of rotation, this makes it possible to sort the raw material
