The quality of the urban environment and the naturalrecreational potential of the municipal districts of the Kemerovo urban district

The proposed article assesses the comfort of living in administrative districts of the city of Kemerovo. To assess the quality of the
urban environment, the methods used by V. N. Fedorov and M. Yu. Aksenova, A. A. Popov, V. A. Nikolayev were used. The
evaluation is based on the following indicators: provision of the population with social infrastructure objects, environmental
conditions, the development of transport infrastructure and aesthetics of the urban environment. In addition to these indicators,
which allow to ensure the high-quality living of city residents, the natural-recreational potential of each district of Kemerovo urban
district is considered according to the method of N. M. Stupina. The evaluation was based on: biometric indicators that are the most
effective and informative: Equivalent-effective temperatures (EET) – B. A. Aizenshtat, Normally Equivalent-Effective Temperatures
(NEET) – I. V. Butieva, the severity index for Bodman and others. The assessment of the picturesque and exotic nature of the urban
environment was carried out on the basis of the questionnaire of the landscape geographer Yu. M. Frolova.
