Abstract

The article analyzes the socio-economic and political life in the period under review, the transformation of the region and
obtaining the status of a union republic. The stage of folding the command and administrative system is traced. The changed socialclass structure of the population of Kazakhstan is presented. The ideological process of the totalitarian regime, subordinated to the center, is revealed. The author gives an assessment of the social, political and economic aspects of this social phenomenon, shows its scope and historical significance. The presented work is based on the study of scientific literature and documents relating to the time in question. The study was conducted on the basis of existing material, but the final point in understanding this period is not put, there is room for new research. Materials can be used in writing scientific works on the history of the USSR and are used in reading special courses
