Agisoft PhotoScan and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Use for the Purposes of Establishment of Circumstances of a Traffic Accident

Abstract

The information covers results of use of UAV and AgisoftPhotoScan software through the example of the specific traffic
accident. It was testified that implementation of this method, firstly, significantly improves fixation time of objects, vehicles
and traces of vehicle movement on road surface, secondly, improves fixation accuracy, and thirdly, allows to determine facts
required for the analysis of the traffic accident. Results of the inspection performed with the implementation of the method
could be used for 3D modeling in the process of traffic and trace examination.
