The role of the information function of the state and e-government in building a modern legal state

Abstract

The article analyzes the role of the information function of the state and e-government in the modern state, in the conditions of the
information society, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, when most people switched over to remote work. The author's
definition of the information function of the state is presented, and the significance of the provision of public services through egovernment is analyzed.
