Abstract

The article discusses the formation and development of migration legislation in the Republic of Kazakhstan in 1990-1991.
The analysis of the main regulatory legal acts, the action of which was aimed at regulating migration processes in the
republic, is given. The article also highlights progressive legal norms that are relevant in modern times.
