Projective methods of personality research

Abstract

The article is devoted to the current problem of the projective method. Projective techniques are now
used in many areas of general and applied psychology. At the same time, the question of their theoretical
substantiation is still controversial. The interest in projective theory and methodology, as well as the
statement of the problem of substantiating projective experimentation, is explained by the general
characteristics and classification of projective techniques. The solution of certain problems is the content of
this article, aimed at substantiating the projective method.
