New Kazakhstan: constitutional reform in 2022

Abstract

The article is devoted to the characteristics of the modernization of the political system of the Republic of Kazakhstan during the constitutional reform of 2022. The conceptual foundations, features and main directions of the constitutional reform are analyzed. The comparison of constitutional reforms in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan is carried out. It is concluded that the constitutional reform of 2022 is the implementation of the presidential program of political reforms, which is based on the requests and proposals of the public.
