Since independence, the issue of legal regulation of state-confessional relations has become particularly acute in the countries of the post-Soviet region. The State, as the main regulator of legal relations in society, needs to create an effective regulatory legal framework for the realization of the right to freedom of conscience and religion by all participants in confessional and religious legal relations. The purpose of this article is to study and identify problems in legislation in the field of regulation of state-confessional relations.
