Problematic issues of application of Art. 189.1 Code of Criminal Proce-dure of the Russian Federation

Abstract

The criminal procedural legislation of the Russian Federation was supplemented by Art. 189.1. Investigator can interrogation, confrontation and identification using videoconferencing systems. The author analyzes the procedure for conducting such investigative actions using videoconferencing systems, considers the positive and negative aspects of the implementation of this rule in law enforcement.
