The characteristic features of cooperation in Azerbaijan

Abstract

Cooperation is a voluntary association of subjects of the economic relations system, with the common purpose of
production the necessary products and rendering services. The production-technological relations between them are build
based on vertical and horizontal forms of integration, defined in accordance to their contractual obligations and being
fulfilled with the high sense of responsibility due to the precise performance of the agreed actions and resulted by
achievement of the desired efficiency. The basic signs on which cooperative societies differ from other forms of
entrepreneurship are: presence of the joint (general) property; an estimation of business relations in accordance to their
contribution, distribution of earned income between members of cooperative society in accordance to their contribution;
limitation of the cooperative members influence based on the principle «one member one vote», not dependent on their
contribution to the capital and property.
