Abstract

The article examines the question of how the institution of citizenship is evolving in Great Britain, what function it performs today and why it is necessary to rethink the very concept of citizenship in the context of the problems caused by the large-scale transformation of the socio-cultural image of the country. The article is devoted to the identification and theoretical analysis of lists and signs characterizing various ways of origin and termination of citizenship (citizenship), the definition of their concepts and lists.
