Measures of state support for the development of the agrarian sector of Azerbaijan.

Abstract

The article is dedicated to measures on state support of the agrarian sector of Azerbaijan. Over the past years, there
have been significant positive changes in the country's agriculture. Important role in all these processes is played by the state,
which provides all-round support to agriculture. Significant work has been done on state support of agricultural producers.
The article deals with state programs for the development of agricultural sectors, such as cotton growing, citrus fruit
growing, tea growing, rice growing, silkworm breeding and cocooning, viticulture. The author notes that the main factor
limiting the development of the agricultural sector is the lack of investment. The low profitability of most agricultural
enterprises and the high riskiness of industries becomes an obstacle for investors. It is possible to overcome the existing
negative tendencies in the country's agrarian sector only on the basis of the development and consistent implementation of a
long-term strategy of renewal and enhancement of competitiveness as the main link in the country's promising agrarian
policy. The renewal of the agricultural sector requires adequate scientific, information and personnel support. Prospects for
further development of the agricultural sector are related to innovative development factors, as well as a comprehensive
solution of technological, economic and social tasks
