Abstract

Today there is an active digitalisation of various spheres of civil society. The pandemic of coronovirus infection (COVID-19), which began in 2020, has led to a high growth in the use of digital technologies by various public authorities, businesses and the judiciary. Digitalisation has not bypassed the institution of the Bar.

Digitalisation is radically changing the legal profession by introducing electronic documents, online platforms for client interaction and artificial intelligence technologies. These changes are increasing the efficiency of lawyers and expanding the geography of services provided. However, digitalisation also brings challenges such as data security issues and new ethical dilemmas. Lawyers require continuous training and adaptation to new technologies to function successfully in today's environment. The article analyses the main directions and consequences of digitalisation and the prospects for the future development of the legal profession.
