This study focuses on bilingualism among adults in Kazakhstan aged 18 to 30, specifically on creating a sociolinguistic profile of Russian-Kazakh bilinguals with an emphasis on factors such as the order of language acquisition and language dominance among respondents. The survey revealed that sequential bilingualism predominates among respondents, with a higher proficiency in Russian due to the educational process, although Kazakh language dominance is observed in the older generation.
