Abstract

The purpose of this article is to study preventive measures and mechanisms that contribute to the prevention of cases of domestic violence. The author, in the course of writing the article, examines international acts, the positive experience of foreign countries in the field of countering domestic violence.

The paper examines various aspects of the problem of domestic violence, including its definition, the main causes and consequences, as well as the role of law enforcement agencies in this process. The main attention is paid to the study of various preventive measures, such as social education, psychological support for victims, the development of legislative acts and mechanisms for punishing violators.

As a result of the research, the author comes to the conclusion about the need for an integrated approach to the prevention of domestic violence. This approach should include cooperation between government agencies, public organizations, the family and educational institutions to create a system for early detection and prevention of domestic violence. Providing support and protection for victims of violence, including access to legal aid and temporary shelter, is also an important aspect.

The author emphasizes that the current criminal and administrative legislation regarding the protection of women in the family is unbalanced, has signs of discrimination and does not ensure the achievement of the goals of restoring social justice.

The article is relevant and significant, since ensuring the safety of citizens and preventing violence are priorities for any state. The study offers specific recommendations and mechanisms for effective prevention of domestic violence, which can contribute to improving the quality of life of citizens and the formation of a safe and harmonious social environment.
