Abstract

The article considers the strategic direction of development of the regional economy of the agro-industrial complex of the
East Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan. East Kazakhstan region plays a significant role in the agro-industrial complex, the
main branch of which is agriculture. Ensuring the competitiveness of the agro-industrial complex ensures its stable
development, based on the industrialization of agricultural production and ensuring its efficiency in the main types of
products of the agro-industrial complex.
The adoption of a number of measures to stabilize the agricultural sectors contributed to the further development of
agricultural production, increase its efficiency and ensure food security of the East Kazakhstan region. To reduce the level of

machinery. Through the development of cluster initiatives, the volume of production and processing of agricultural products
