Abstract

This article examines the criminal legislation of Kazakhstan and foreign countries that provide for liability in the field of
countering crimes committed using information and telecommunications networks (including the Internet). Comparative legal
analysis of legislation is carried out at the level of the national criminal law system (Kazakhstan, France, Russia, USA,
Germany, China, CIS countries). The author describes the positive and negative aspects of the Anglo-American, RomanoGerman, and socialist legal system. The author reveals the advantages and disadvantages of Kazakhstan's legislation on
criminalization in the field of countering crimes committed using information and telecommunications networks (including the
Internet).
