This article is intended to determine the psychological and pedagogical conditions for the development of professional
skills of future teachers. Professional skills of teachers should not remain at the same level, they should be developed and
supplemented in accordance with social changes. Thus, the article says that for a highly qualified teacher, the dynamics of
continuous development in life and career do not differ from international or domestic standards. The work of the teaching
profession is full of complex professional tasks, the solution of which requires a high level of general and professional
training. Accordingly, it is proved that the model for the development of professional and pedagogical abilities of students and
its implementation in the educational process of a pedagogical university.
