Abstract

The position of a woman in society is considered as an integral indicator that reflects all the features of the
socio-political structure of the state, its economic development, management methods, legal attitudes, the level of
culture and social consciousness, that is, the position of women in society becomes an indicator of all social
processes. In our country, women make a huge contribution to the construction of Kazakhstan's society and state,
making up 49% of the total workforce. Women are mainly employed in the vital areas of the republic. They make up
about 80% of all teachers, about 90% of doctors and medical staff. More than 60% of all public sector employees
are women. In general, the contribution of women to the formation of the country's GDP reaches 40%. In recent
years, the Republic of Kazakhstan has committed itself to a number of international agreements, adopted many laws
and developed State measures that have become a key condition for gender equality and increasing women's
participation in government activities.
