Features of introduction of innovative distance learning technologies in higher education institutions

Abstract

The relevance of the research begun is that modern information technologies open up new prospects for increasing
the level of the educational process of higher education. The analysis of scientific literature made it possible to state that
distance learning is at the stage of active formation in connection with the conditions of the spread of the pandemic and
state policy in the field of education. The main advantages of distance learning include: reducing the cost of education,
simultaneous training of a large number of students, the ability to access various sources of information, improving the
quality of education through the use of modern means, electronic library resources, enhancing students' independent
work, developing creative abilities and professional skills. The disadvantages of distance learning are the difficulties in
organizing the educational process, the lack of direct interaction between the teacher and the student, technical
obstacles, the discrepancy between the level of training of teachers and the low information culture of applicants.
The combination of traditional and distance learning is relevant at the present stage of development of national
education. The article describes innovative technologies of distance learning (integration of distance learning and
semantic web technologies, the development of new online platforms, copyright means of distance work, imitation of
work processes, the use of distance gaming technologies, cloud technologies), their capabilities and scope.
On the basis of the study and generalization of the experience of using distance technologies, the ways of
improving professional training are proposed. We see the prospects for further scientific research in the substantiation
of the model for improving the content of vocational training by means of distance learning.
