Educational policy and its implementation during the war years (on the example of the Semipalatinsk region).

The paper examines the experience of the party-state leadership of the school education system during the Great
Patriotic War. The development and then the implementation of this state program was the main content of educational
policy throughout the entire period under review.Soviet politics and social practice put ideology, worldview, culture,
education and education of society under the most severe party control. An analysis of the history of the Soviet
experience in educational policy carries with it scientific, cognitive and practical projections to the present. Today,
when the problem of studying and reviving the historical and cultural heritage is the subject of state policy in
Kazakhstan, the importance of a thorough research and scientific analysis of regional history is ripe.Scientific interest in
the study of the history of the development of the educational sphere of the Semipalatinsk region during the war is
manifested in connection with the rethinking of many aspects of the Soviet period and the assessment of the policy of
the Soviet state.The relevance of the study is also in the fact that addressing the problem has an applied value in relation
to the tasks of reforming the modern system of educational relations in the republic.Understanding the historical
experience of formulating and solving education issues will allow building new modern educational models, taking into
account the modern policy of updating education in the republic.
