Comparison of domestic and international experience in legal regulation of the migration process

Abstract

Migration is one of the urgent problems of the modern world. As in all countries, the process of internal migration in Kazakhstan requires regular regulation. Improving the social regulation of migration in Kazakhstan is one of the main tasks of the state migration policy. The study of the migration process is based on uniform principles, i.e. factors that determine internal, external, legal and illegal migration flows. The article compares the migration process with domestic and international practice of legal regulation. The experience of the United States, Australia, Germany and Russia has been studied, as well as the methods and mechanisms for managing the migration flows of these countries, studying their mistakes and successful decisions, introducing institutional instruments and mechanisms, legal norms and organizational forms.
