Interactive technologies in teaching foreign language speaking to senior pu-pils

Abstract

Teaching foreign languages using the interactive method aims to developing students' communication skills, as well as encouraging students to solve problematic issues independently. The use of interactive methods in English lessons helps to increase the level of communicative competence of learners in the main types of speech activity. Considering that speaking is one of the most complex forms of speech, in the process of learning English certain difficulties arise, both linguistic and extralinguistic. It is necessary to rely on the methodological principles of an interactive approach to teaching English. In the process of teaching foreign language speaking to senior pupils, ample opportunities are offered by brainstorming technology, role-playing games, and the «Listen and discuss» method, aimed at pupils collaboration and the development of communication and interaction skills during group work.
